Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards open for entries

Amazon Launchpad, a programme created to support entrepreneurs and help boost their businesses is now accepting entries for the Innovation Awards. One lucky winner will bag an €100,000 grand prize with 4 further pioneering startups also being awarded €10,000 and free access to Amazon Launchpad for a year.

Amazon Launchpad is seeking startups that bring innovation into the everyday with their cutting-edge products. Products that don’t just belong in the future, but shape it. The grant will help the lucky business reach millions of consumers and open up a world of opportunity.

On the 12th of July 5 winners will be announced as chosen by judges Aditi Singh, General Manager at Amazon, Andy Fishburn, Managing Director at Virgin Start-Up, Greg Williams, Editor-in-chief at WIRED UK, Jamie Siminoff, Founder and CEO of Ring and Ryan Frank, Head of Amazon Spain Marketplace. The public will then vote for their favourite out of the five, and the product with the highest number of votes will be crowned Startup of the Year.

Entering the Innovation Awards

If you’re an innovative startup business and you’re thinking about entering simply submit your entry form before the 28th of March. Finalists will be announced on March 30th and will be required to send in five samples of their products. Products must be physical and on sale to consumers by the 5th of April and the total annual turnover of the business must be less than €10 million.
