At 2019 Fast Company Innovation Festival, Kanye Says He May Legally Change His Name To Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West, Run For President In 2024

In a surprise appearance at the 2019 Fast Company Innovation Festival, West suggested that he may legally change his name to “Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West” for a little bit.

Kanye West is an absolute master of marketing and promotion, and today sits at the head of a multibillion dollar empire known as Yeezy. At this very moment, his album ‘Jesus Is King‘ is No. #1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and every song from that album ranks on the Billboard Top 100 song chart. Along with this, it is his latest character manifestation as a born again Christian that is causing incredible amounts on controversy. Hmm, ya think maybe that’s what has propelled his new album to No. #1 status so fast? 🤔 Very shrewd marketing to say the least. Kanye wants to legally change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West, and run for president in 2024. Feel like you’re being played yet? Give it a minute, you will.

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” 1 Timothy 6:9-11 (KJV)

The name of Kanye West’s billion dollar empire is Yeezy, an interesting name with an even more interesting history. Kanye was given the nickname of Kanyeezy while working as music producer on a song called ‘Lucifer‘ on Jay-Z”s ‘The Black Album’. Over time, Kanyeezy was shortened to Yeezy, and then transmogrified into Yeezus as the title of his 2013 album that featured songs like “I Am God”. Using the name Yeezus is an absolute mockery of the name which is above all Name, Jesus Christ. Profiting off a name that mocks the name of Jesus is something only a lost person would do.

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:10,12 (KJV)

Kanye West is, without a doubt, a ‘genius billionaire’, no question about it. But a Christian? Let’s see him repent of anything connected with Yeezus first, that would be a good start.

Kanye says he may change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West

FROM FOX NEWS: Artist and designer Kanye West has thrown out a new name idea and, honestly, it’s hard to tell if he’s joking.

“When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is,” he told Fast Company senior writer Mark Wilson.

“That’s going to be so hard to type,” Wilson joked. “It will be on the license plate,” West pitched in. West’s erratic interview style often results in head-turning lines like this one.

  • Last year, he stirred up controversy by suggesting slavery was a choice.
  • In 2016, he asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion, saying he was $53 million in debt.
  • In 2009, West — to promote a sneaker line — said he’d change his name to Martin Louis the King Jr.
  • And in 2006, he posed for Rolling Stone with a crown of thorns and compared himself to Jesus.

The name change was part of a larger discussion

Just moments before the proposed name change, West was discussing how he has bounced back from the aftermath of 2016, a difficult year for him, and is approaching the brand with innovative and environmentally-conscious solutions.

West seemed to unravel in the fall of 2016, shortly after the launch of his fashion line “Yeezy Season 4.” Within a month of the launch, his wife Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. By November, West was hospitalized for exhaustion hours after canceling his 2016 tour.

Now, West has leaped headfirst into a series of endeavors, including his latest album release, “Jesus is King” and a series of changes occurring in his design company Yeezy.

During the interview, West discussed his recent decision to move the Yeezy headquarters to Cody, Wyoming. The company’s new 4,000-acre ranch in the US will allow the brand to test “seed-to-sew” methods of growing their own materials, West says. READ MORE

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
