Innovation Birmingham backing start ups at West Midlands Tech Awards

One of the region’s largest hubs for new and growing companies is throwing its backing behind our West Midlands Tech Awards 2018.

As well as offering office accommodation, Innovation Birmingham runs various support and mentoring programs for tech companies which are creating to new jobs, products and services

So it is apt the city centre campus has chosen to sponsor the Digital Start-up of the Year category at our inaugural West Midlands Tech Awards which will celebrate investors, individuals, companies and public sector organisations across 12 categories.

The awards are being run jointly by BirminghamLive and sister website CoventryLive.

Innovation Birmingham brings together the public and private sectors, creating a place for people with ideas, expertise and experience to drive collaboration and innovation.

It is home to more than 170 businesses working in fields such as coding, software, digital gaming and low carbon technologies.

Its incubator programmes include Entrepreneurs for the Future and Serendip which partners start-ups with corporations such as Barclays and TATA Motors to create an environment for tech SMEs to grow.

About the Awards

The West Midlands Tech Awards 2018 will showcase those firms, investors and innovators which are driving the region’s thriving tech sector forward.

They are open to individuals and companies based in or connected to Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire, the Black Country, Solihull and South Staffordshire.
