Alfonso A. Rojo-Ramírez is a Full Professor of Accounting and Finance in the Department of Economics and Business at Almería University, Spain. He headed the Department of Business Management and is a member of the Valuation Committee of the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration. His research has been published in journals as Small Business Economics, Family Business Review, Review of Managerial Science, Business Research Quarterly BRQ and European Journal of Innovation Management.

Valentina Lazzarotti is a Full Professor at Università Cattaneo – LIUC where she is also the co-director of the Family Business Lab – FABULA. She has received her Ph.D. in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and the degree in Business Administration at Università Bocconi. Her current research interests are innovation, technological collaborations, family business and performance measurement. Her research has been published in journals as R&D Management, Long Range Planning, International Journal of Innovation Management, Management Decision and Journal of Family Business Strategy.

Salvatore Sciascia is Full Professor at Università Cattaneo – LIUC where he is also the co-director of the Family Business Lab – FABULA. He is also Affiliated Professor at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership – CeFEO of the Jonkoping International Business School. His research has been published in journals as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Family Business Review, Journal of Product Innovation Management and Small Business Economics. He sits on the editorial board of 5 scientific journals.
