“Whether you’re an entrepreneur looking to scale your business, an investor looking for access to early stage tech before it makes headlines, an innovator looking to grow your career in tech, or if you’re part of an enterprise searching for new ways to innovate and leverage technology, Propelify is where ideas are propelled into action,” Propelify founder and TechUnited CEO Aaron Price said in a statement.

“Plus, it’s fun.”

Focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation, topics covered on this year’s Stage of Wisdom will include climate change, diversity, smart cities, communication, wellness and venture capital.

This year, organizers are adding the Stage of Finspiration, sponsored by Cross River Bank, which will address fintech innovations, emerging technologies, the metaverse, Web3 and more.

“The Propelify Innovation Festival unites innovators who are building the future, continuing the legacy of innovation rooted in New Jersey,” Gov. Phil Murphy said. “We’re thrilled that TechUnited:NJ leads the way to welcome some of the most inspired companies, entrepreneurs and innovators to New Jersey who propel ideas into action.”

Launched in 2016, the festival aligns with one of Murphy’s goals, which is to build out the state’s technology industries and regain New Jersey’s role as a leader in innovation.

According to its website, more than 3,000 people attended last year’s event. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced organizers to pivot to a virtual event, which drew more than 6,000 registrations.

Also on deck for the October event will be the 2022 TechUnited:BetterX Challenges winner announcements, which award innovative entrepreneurs $100,000 in cash, as well as instrumental mentorship opportunities.

Sponsors and supporters for the awards include PSEG, Labcorp, RWJBarnabas, Audible, Samsung, Verizon Business and Cross River Bank.
