Recircle Awards to celebrate excellence and innovation in tire recycling and retreading at Futurmotive – Expo & Talks

The 2023 Recircle Awards ceremony, a prestigious event recognizing excellence and innovation in tire retreading and recycling sectors, will take place during the Futurmotive – Expo & Talks.

Futurmotive, organized by Autopromotec, is scheduled from Nov. 16-18, 2023, at the Bologna Exhibition Center. The Recircle Awards, created by Valebridge Media Services, are now in their third year, and focus on sustainability and contribution to the circular economy.

The afternoon of Nov. 16 will be dedicated to tires. It will commence with a traditional meeting discussing the future of tire recycling and retreading. Following the meeting, the awards ceremony will take place, featuring a total of 22 categories including the “Best Retreading Equipment Supplier,” “Lifetime Achievement Award in the Tire Recycling Industry,” “Best Light Vehicle Tire Retreader,” and “Best truck and bus tire retreader.”

Reflecting the spirit of the event, the trophies given to the winners will be designed by Neusus Upcycling, a Spanish company specializing in upcycling end-of-life tires into unique objects. The awards ceremony will be available for live streaming for those unable to attend in person.

Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec

The Futurmotive event, according to Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec, is not just an exhibition but a platform for discussing the energy transition in the mobility sector.

“This is a complex transition – ecologically, industrially and socially – which must be approached in scientific terms, looking with equal interest at all new technologies in the field,” says Servadei.

Futurmotive – Expo & Talks will serve as an international forum on the future of mobility, energy and ecological transition. Its goal is to bring together industry leaders, manufacturers, suppliers, and experts from across the automotive sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding these transitions.

The exhibition will feature several key areas dedicated to specific aspects of the automotive industry including alternative fuel systems, remanufacturing, connectivity and service and repair networks. Futurmotive also will include a conference program featuring keynote speakers and panel discussions on a range of topics related to the future of mobility, energy and ecological transition.

Running concurrently with Futurmotive is E-Charge, an exhibition dedicated to the electric vehicle charging industry, infrastructure and electric mobility. The combination of Futurmotive and E-Charge will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and developments in the automotive industry, and to explore new business opportunities in this rapidly evolving sector.

The Futurmotive event, according to Servadei, is a “catalyzing international event for 2023, with ample space dedicated to networking with high-profile international buyers.” He also notes the paradigm shift occurring in the automotive industry, viewing it as a complex transition that needs to be approached scientifically, with equal interest in all new technologies in the field.

Innovators, technologists and institutions will take the Futurmotive stage to chart new routes of energy sustainability, covering topics such as new generation power plants, alternative fuels, infrastructure and smart cities, human-machine interconnection for computerized car maintenance, big data management, cybersecurity, and transformation of business models and the labour market.

The three-day trade show and event will feature an exhibition space of approximately 25,000 square meters, showcasing a full range of technological innovations and solutions to address global challenges in the automotive world.

2023 Recircle Awards nominations have closed. The 2023 Recircle Awards shortlist will be announced during a virtual Nominations Ceremony on June 12.
