NEW ORLEANS, LA., March 14, 2019 — This year’s 16th Annual What’s Next Boomer Business Summiton April 18th in New Orleans, Louisiana, features the annual Business Plan Competition where emerging companies pitch their ideas to a diverse panel of judges for feedback, funding and a $10,000 prize. The Summit includes angel investors, early stage and growth stage firms, and distribution partners all focused on investment in the longevity economy. 

JUST ANNOUNCED! The What’s Next Innovation Competition, hosted by Mary Furlong and Associates and Sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs has announced its 2019 Challenge: Using voice first and AI, how can we improve social connections and empower people to choose to live how they want as they age?

This competition is limited to start-up companies with less than $500,000 in annual revenue or who have raised a maximum of $5 million in investor funding.

Finalists will be chosen and notified by April 4, 2019 and must be available to present on center stage at the What’s Next Boomer Business Summit held on April 18th at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Hotel. The winning team will go on to the final AARP Innovation Hatchery Pitch event in Washington, D.C. in the Fall of 2019!
