Is This BMW M4 Slaughtered or Innovation At Its Finest?

Well, not really. At least not one that we’re aware of. However, it was brought to our attention that Instagram account @bradbuilds is not that much into the ‘kill the M4’s grille with fire’ battle cry and instead decided to work on what’s behind it.

What came out is this wide-track, high-sitting BMW M4 that’s ready to stir some dust off the beaten path. The digital transformation of BMW’s go-fast coupe has some Porsche 911 Safari flavor to it for sure but at the same time, it also borders on overlanding.

The carbon-fiber hump you see in the back looks as if it’s made of carbon fiber. More importantly, it hides “a bed, kitchenette, and a pair of solar panels,” according to the artist’s concept.

That said, it looks like the weekend out in the wild is sorted. And as we all know, the M4 can also be had with all-wheel-drive – albeit in a super-sporty tune as brewed by BMW M – and the twin-turbo flat-six is more than capable of getting you out of the nastiest situation with 473 or 503 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

It also seems to us that the whole build looks better than those SUV-coupes, even with that bulky box on its back, don’t you think?
