Tracee Ellis Ross Dons Floral Prada Heels for Fast Company Innovation – Footwear News

Tracee Ellis Ross was photographed heading to the Fast Company Innovation Festival today held in New York.

The event is a multi-day festival spanning from Sept. 18 through 21 and aims to assemble thousands of makers and innovators from across the globe to engage in meaningful networking. Beyond Ross, speakers at the festival include Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade, Ryan Gellert, Diane von Furstenberg and Christy Turlington among others.

Ross stepped out in a pair of sophisticated structural white leather heels from Prada. The pair was comprised of brushed leather uppers, hence the shiny finish, that transitioned into sharp knife-like pointed toes topped with floral appliques and a slip-on composition.

Short 1.7-inch block heels rounded out the neutral set, offering Ross a virtually undetectable boost. The footwear was presented during Prada’s fall 2023 collection and also features the Italian brand’s logo screen-printed on the toes.

Looking sophisticated, Ross donned a black wool Prada dress in a retro 60s mod-inspired style featuring a collared neckline, long sleeves and a bodycon fit. The garment also included pocket detailing on the bodice.

The structural dress was accompanied by a white leather Prada shoulder bag that matched her shoes featuring silver hardware. Getting into the retro spirit, the “Daddy’s Little Girls” star wore her dark tresses in a sleek 1940s-inspired bumper bang. The style was popularized by the likes of Linda Darnell, Betty Grable and Lena Horne.

Ross always gives a masterclass in style. Her shoe wardrobe is just as impressive, ranging from pumps to sandals and boots from labels like Versace, Andrea Wazen and Gucci, among other top brands. When she’s not in heels, the Golden Globe Award winner will likely complete her looks with various sneaker silhouettes. She always offers sneaker outfit inspiration by proving that classic kicks can be styled in several different ways.
