Intel Raptor Lake Refresh to be tested at Innovation 2023

The 14th-generation Intel Cores appear for the first time in Innovation 2023, with the Raptor Lake Refresh expected to debut in October.

It seems that there are only weeks left for the 14th-generation Intel Core processors to land on the market. At the Innovation 2023 event, they have already been “shown”, although their silkscreened IHS is still unknown. They have not yet been mentioned in terms of SKU, nor in specifications, how they keep on begging!

Intel Raptor Lake Refresh, on the road for the first time

It has been during Innovation 2023, that Intel has decided to demonstrate the value of the Intel Core 14th Generation for desktop. There is still no prior announcement, nor mention of it by Intel’s CEO, but they have already made their debut on the second day of Innovation 2023.

They demonstrated a showroom in which there were 2 monitors with 3D models illustrated, while the presenter mentioned that it was the first public appearance of the Intel Raptor Lake Refresh. Basically, they were creating an avatar based on a human through cameras.

And there is no more information: no SKUs, no specs, nothing like that. It has only been mentioned that Meteor Lake and Lunar Lake will come with AI acceleration capabilities, nothing else!

As a starter, 6 main models are expected:

• i9-14900K, with 24 cores and up to 6 GHz.
• i7-14700K, with 20 cores and up to 5.6 GHz.
• i7-14700
• i5-14600K, with 14 cores and up to 5.3 GHz.
• i5-14600.
• i5-14500.

We could see some more such as the Intel Core i5-14440 and i3-14100, but all this remains unconfirmed pending the release of something new.

The launch of these processors is expected to take place on October 17, but this date is still unconfirmed.
