If you’re a leader in your organization, is your team generating more ideas on improving your operation than you can handle?  What if a portion of your time was spent prioritizing all those ideas and working on implementing continuous improvements to positively impact your company and your customers?  How much more effective would you be?
What’s interesting, is that the number one barrier to innovation in the workplace is……the boss.  That would be you!  If you aren’t careful in how you solicit your employees for ideas and how you express your reaction to those ideas, your employees may hesitate to provide them.
