Maker Faire Detroit at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn

Maker Faire Detroit – the greatest show and tell on Earth – will return to The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn July 27-28, 2019 for two days of unchecked creativity and innovative fun.

At this 10th annual July festival – a “three-ring circus of innovation,” as the museum has called it – hundreds of makers of all ages and from all walks of life will come to show their hands-on projects and innovations.

Visitors can even roll up their sleeves and make something themselves at dozens of demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

Guests will get the chance to see robots and animatronics, marshmallow shooters, rockets and many more awe-inspiring inventions at this year’s event – plus arts and crafts and other activities for kids.

Maker Faire will be located at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation with some additional exhibits in the Lovett Hall lot behind the museum. Food concessions will be available.

So come and celebrate your right to tweak, hack and bend technology at this year’s Maker Faire, running 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

One-day admission is $28/adults, $26/seniors 62-plus, $10/ages 5-11 and free/kids 4 and under.

Parking at the museum is $6 but parking is also available offsite in the Oakwood Blvd lots. A shuttle will be available for those that must park offsite.
