Operation Lifeline Innovation Challenge District Finalists Announced
For our third-annual Innovation Challenge, Operation Lifeline, a hypothetical 8.0 magnitude earthquake devastated our area. Our students formed teams to plan, problem-solve, create, and design medical packs to deliver supplies to those affected by the disaster.
An Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for students to employ innovation and creative problem-solving skills to create a solution to a problem. This Innovation Challenge is being put on in partnership with JASON Learning and Day of Design Challenges. Klein ISD was recently recognized by the Houston Business Journal for its Innovation Challenges and Operation Lifeline has definitely lived up to that reputation!
We were overwhelmed by the creativity and innovation that we saw on the Day of Design and we want to thank everyone for their participation. We would also like to extend a huge congratulations to our finalists!
