Telangana Innovation Yatra to ignite young minds
Hyderabad: To make participants explore the real-time innovations and expand their knowledge beyond the horizons of traditional ideation, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) is hosting Telangana Innovation Yatra (TIY) in various parts of the State.
A first of its kind initiative, the TIY takes to 33 different districts in Telangana and throw light on the novel innovations that are there in each district, taking four different routes starting from February 19 to 22. It exposes the participants to a galore of diversified leaders who have set an example to bring that embracing change in today’s daily lives.
The four routes of the yatra include Warangal – Karimnagar – Siddipet – Hyderabad, Khammam – Nalgonda – Rangareddy – Hyderabad, Adilabad – Nizamabad – Medak – Hyderabad, and Gadwal – Wanaparthy – Mahabubnagar –Hyderabad.
According to officials, the yatra seek to inspire participants with local rural innovators and entrepreneurs and get to know about administration and innovation ecosystem at district level. The Innovation Yatra will help participants learn the skills, problem solving, being creative and designing innovative solution to the problems.
Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary, IT&C department launched the poster, here on Thursday in the presence of T Papi Reddy, chairman, TSCHE and others.
Annie Vijaya, project director, TSIC, said the TSCHE is an education partner for TIY-2020 and would be responsible for promoting, publicising and managing the ‘Ideathon’ across all the universities, as the preliminary step to participate in TIY-2020.
On day-1, the need of innovation through opportunities by government, corporates and other stakeholders will be expressed while the second day witness views on creating an innovative solution for a given opportunity through systematic approach. The subsequent two days offer understanding the existing innovations and celebrating those innovations and exposure to the Hyderabad ecosystem, a press release said.
