San Pedro’s Brouwerij West celebrates four years of craft beer innovation
What was once just another warehouse in San Pedro’s industrious port is now an an iconic stop for any connoisseurs of quality craft beer.
Brouwerij West, located on the corner of Miner and 22nd Street, celebrated four years of crafting delicious, imaginative beers and serving as a gathering spot for families with an anniversary party Saturday evening, Feb. 29.
The brewery took the time of celebration to debut new craft concoctions like Little Baby Satan, 4x4x, and Hold the Cone, a beer that strangely tasted just like a strawberry ice cream cone.

“I’ve been coming here since it first opened,” said Thomas Winegar, a Palos Verdes resident. “My go to is always the Dog Ate My Homework.”
What began as a local operation now sees the brewery’s craft beers featured in beer festivals, neighboring breweries and local markets.
