From Tea Gardens Hawks Nest, Stephen began his media career with NBN 20 years ago before joining National Nine News.

After several years in management roles with the Newcastle Knights, the Hunter Medical Research Institute and private enterprise, he returned to NBN News as a reporter and presenter while studying law at the University of Newcastle.

Stephen is a practising Criminal and Traffic Lawyer, admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
