Researchers, employees, students and partners of the UT share their knowledge and work together to combat the COVID-19 crisis from multiple sides.

Since the outbreak of the Corona crisis, UT researchers have collaborated with various partners from our ecosystem on solutions relating to COVID-19. On June 30, we look back on the successes with a UT webinar on the Corona-related research. We will conclude a special, almost bizarre period.

 In an attractive digital program, we demonstrate the power of our ecosystem. We share the beautiful, innovative and relevant solutions that researchers, companies and healthcare institutions have developed in intensive cooperation in the past period. We also look ahead: how can we be well prepared together for a new wave of Corona or other epidemics? Which solutions should we not let go yet, but consciously continue to develop together?

TechMed mobilises forces to support hospitals 

The corona crisis puts huge pressure on hospitals and healthcare professionals and leads to a shortage of medical supplies and equipment. The Technical Medical Centre of the University of Twente initiated several activities to support the healthcare sector in coping with this crisis. From fast training of care professionals to new solutions for the shortage in respiratory equipment.
