Analyzing Complaints Against New York City Police Officers – Center for Data Innovation
ProPublica has released a dataset of more than 12,000 complaints filed against New York City police officers. The complaints are from 1985 through 2020, and the dataset includes information on the alleged misconduct and if the city’s Civilian Complaint Review Board deemed that an officer’s conduct violated rules. The data also includes the race, rank, and precinct for each officer involved in a complaint.
