Obaseki Signs MoU With Malaysia To Establish University Of Innovation In Edo
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has made a deal with the Government of Malaysia for the establishment of a University of Innovation in Benin City, the State capital.
The Governor made this known while speaking with newsmen in Benin City.
He explained that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is part of his administration’s efforts to bring more development into the state and also boost the state’s economy.
“As I speak to you today, I have signed an MoU with the Government of Malaysia to bring a University of Innovation to Benin City. We are in discussion with one of the best schools in Malaysia and we have signed an MoU with them.
“The Technology Hub in ICE has been given to them as they are bringing a University of Innovation to Benin City to benefit our people,” he said.
