CLEVELAND, Ohio — The grass-roots Aerozone Alliance has won a grant to create a strategic plan for an innovation hub around Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

The alliance, led by the Ohio Aerospace Institute, has won a $25,000 grant from the Fund for Our Economic Future to create a plan that guides redevelopment in the hub, said Reanna Karousis, a spokeswoman for the fund.

“We were able to rally all our partners and get the match to the Fund grant,” said John Sankovic, president and CEO of the aerospace institute.
