Canon Unveils Canon Americas Customer Innovation Center In Boca Raton, FL – Covering the Printing Inks, Coatings and Allied Industries – Ink World

Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., debuted its newest facility in Boca Raton, FL.

This new facility features the state-of-the-art Canon Americas Customer Innovation Center (CIC) to host customers and showcase a wide range of Canon’s advanced production printing technology, including industry-leading inkjet presses, and solutions for enterprise, large format and production printing.

Located on the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), Canon Solutions America occupies 127,000 square feet.

Converted into a state-of-the-art showroom, this new space includes a modern designed floating canopy entrance and lobby which will welcome visitors from all over the world.

The project also included the transformation of a mezzanine into a collaborative, open-ceiling workspace that can seat about 200 employees.

Within the CIC’s hardware and technology labs, Canon’s service and support teams can help provide a high-quality customer environment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help minimize customer downtime, test complex workflow and finishing solutions, and maximize product reliability through research and development.

Also, the advanced training facilities on the production product lines and software portfolio are complete with four training rooms for hosting on-sight and virtual hardware and software training programs, helping to support employees operating out of the physical office, as well as those working remotely.

The CIC is also home to Canon’s media lab, which is designed to deliver specialized media testing. It’s within this technology center that the Canon team establishes peak media performance, color metric optimization and paper manufacturing collaboration to help create new substrates and ensure customer confidence in the approved media to use on the company’s devices.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers to our new Canon Americas Customer Innovation Center and showcasing Canon’s latest advances in inkjet technology and print solutions,” said Shinichi Yoshida, executive VP and GM, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “When safe to do so, we are excited for employees to take advantage of all the BRiC has to offer, including a bigger and better employee workspace design to enhance creativity, collaboration, and productivity.”
