Nursing Leadership to Spotlight Patient Monitoring Innovation at ANCC Conference

Hicuity Health, the nation’s leading provider of high-acuity telemedicine services, will participate in the 2021 ANCC Magnet and Pathway to Excellence nursing conference in Atlanta November 11-13th. Executive team members Marcia Murphy, VP of Clinical Operations and Nursing, and Ellen McEvoy, Director of New Product Development, will address “How Acute Care Monitoring Improves Nursing Life” in an educational session in the Innovation Theater. The presentation will highlight remote patient monitoring services that help ensure that in-facility nurses can focus on bedside patient care by tasking a dedicated group with primary monitoring responsibility. Implemented appropriately, the virtual services provide nurse managers options that decrease administrative challenges through the delegation of monitoring, hiring, managing and training to a trusted partner while also providing nursing staff with additional support.

The ANCC Magnet and Pathway to Excellence Conference is one of the largest gatherings of nurses, nurse leadership, and healthcare stake holders in the nation. The conference, organized by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA), encourages a culture of innovation while advancing outstanding care. This year’s 3-day conference includes more than 70 hours of educational and innovative sessions, more than 150 poster sessions and a range of networking opportunities.

In-person attendees at the conference can visit booth 2018 to learn more about Hicuity Health services designed to support nursing staff and management. If you would like to set up a meeting either during the conference or afterward, please click here.
