3P Innovation invests £5M on a second purpose-built facility in Warwick

High-tech engineering company 3P innovation is doubling the size of its premises again, with a £5 million investment in an eco-friendly 30,000 sq ft facility, which will enable it to double in size and expand its UK and international operations.

3P innovation works with global pharmaceutical and medical device businesses to help develop new products, devices and production processes. This exporting manufacturer is one of a very limited number of companies globally who can design and manufacture this sophisticated and heavily regulated automation.

Paul Shanley, Consultant at Clowes Developments, said: “It is great to see an existing occupier at Tournament Fields thriving and expanding. We are delighted with the success 3P have experienced whilst located here and we are looking forward to helping them evolve further with their brand-new premises.”

The new site, being built by Clowes Developments, will be a 30,000 sq ft purpose-built facility, taking the 3P premises to a combined total of 60,000 sq ft of both office and workshop space. This move will allow for 3P’s workforce to double in size.

The Midlands-based firm has invested £5M in this development, with at least £350,000 of that investment dedicated to making the building greener. Following the steps taken with the development of their current facilities, this environmentally-conscious SME has chosen to reduce their carbon footprint by adding solar panels, led-efficient lighting, a variable speed air compressor to reduce energy usage and energy efficient air conditioning and heating to their new premises.

3P’s Managing Director, Nick Brooks said: “This new chapter is an exciting one for us. After outgrowing our current purpose-built facility in just three years, we needed to invest in another premises to enable our continued growth. We are looking forward to housing more projects, recruiting more engineers and expanding on our new 3P pharma equipment and 3P custom automation brands as the business takes an exciting direction towards standard platforms, alongside our traditional custom automation expertise.”
