First Egyptian university college for innovation to be established in Cairo

The Education Development Fund of the Egyptian Cabinet announced signing a cooperation agreement with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation, represented by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) in Amman, to establish the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation in Egypt.

The deal sees it fall under the colleges of Misr University for Science and Technology, affiliated with the Education Development Fund.

The Education Development Fund has also begun to take the necessary measures to establish the Misr International Technology University, Secretary General of the Education Development Fund Ahmed Hosny al-Hayawy, said, adding that will be based within the integrated technology complex in al-Amiriya, Cairo,

He added that the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University for Innovation will be one of its faculties, which comes from the Education Development Fund’s objective to provide the labor market requirements of highly qualified and scientifically qualified human cadres in various sectors.

Hayawy hailed the constructive cooperation done to establish the first college of its kind in Egypt in partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation, to serve the Egyptian and Arab community.

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation is affiliated with the Misr University for Science and Technology, as an Egyptian university college, and thus subject to regulations and laws in force in Egypt.

The university college will offer a number of specializations, including entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, data analysis, and human resource management.

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation is one of the educational institutions of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Foundation, a higher education institution registered and officially licensed in Jordan since 2017.

Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his deep gratitude for this new strategic partnership, noting there had been previous cooperation in establishing the first Arab factory for technical devices for laptops, tablets and smart phones, with international specifications and competitive prices in the region, to be based in Egypt.
