Peterson Energy Logistics wins EHS Innovation Award
Pro-Sapien client Peterson Energy Logistics has won the ‘Operational Risk Management’ Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Innovation Excellence Award for its use of Pro-Sapien’s Risk Assessment software.

International logistics provider Peterson Energy Logistics has won the EHS Innovation Excellence Award for its achievements with Pro-Sapien, EHS software on Microsoft 365.
Peterson Energy Logistics took home the Operational Risk Management award in London, UK, at the awards ceremony during the Verdantix EHS Summit EMEA 2023.
Winners were selected across 10 categories by a panel of three independent judges from Verdantix, the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management, and sustainability consultancy Arup.

Having previously dealt with risk assessments on a site-by-site basis, Peterson Energy Logistics set out to simplify and enable a better understanding of risk and work instructions.
The roll out of Pro-Sapien’s Risk Assessment Software on Microsoft 365 in 2022 enabled Peterson Energy Logistics to reduce the number of risk assessments in their system.
All risk assessments were redeveloped to reduce volume and establish a systematic process within the Pro-Sapien platform, enabling all workers to perform their work to a safe and high standard.

The Verdantix award win adds to Peterson’s impressive list of HSEQ accolades received this year. In May, Peterson won the Port Health and Safety award at Port of Aberdeen‘s inaugural Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Awards for the company’s efforts in safety leadership, employee engagement, and implementing and achieving goal zero. Peterson also received Energy Transition Award at The Offshore Achievement Awards earlier this year for implementing a range of sustainability initiatives that saw the company achieve carbon-neutral status at the end of 2022.
