• Kalpana is the Head of the AI/ML Go to Market organization at AWS and focuses on accelerating customer business outcomes through the democratization of ML. She has been with AWS for 4 years and her background includes the diverse areas of machine learning, data, software development, hardware engineering, battery management, and IoT along with global customer & business management. She holds two patents in the energy harvesting space, has a MS EE from Missouri Science & Technology University, and an MBA from SMU. Her passions outside of work revolve around her family and community! She is actively involved in the community through the Sankara Eye Foundation and Hunger Heroes, a technology solution built on AWS for solving hunger in the communities.

Andy Hoyt – Chief Technology Officer, Aderant

• As CTO, Andy leads the Aderant technology strategy and product roadmap execution with a laser focus on fueling innovation, evolving our engineering practices, and releasing best-in-class products to the market. Before joining Aderant, he was the CTO and VP of Engineering for NCR Corporation. During his four-year tenure at NCR, Andy implemented an “API-First Strategy”, which prioritized client interests, allowing them to extend capabilities and open up new opportunities. Andy joined NCR following a 17-year career at IBM, during which he ultimately led the API Management and Gateway functions for IBM’s cloud business as well as its overall developer experience. In his roles at IBM, progressing from entry-level to Vice President, he led engineers, testers, support, product managers, and cloud operators to deliver best-of-breed software products and solutions. His delivery experiences cover both on-premise and ‘as a service’ models for software packages.
