‘Bahraini youth force behind innovation and development’ TDT | Manama       The Daily Tribune –  www.newsofbahrain.com MP Dr. Maryam Al-Dhaen has affirmed the significant achievements of Bahraini youth across diverse sectors, highlighting their competence and their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s present and future. Speaking on Bahraini Youth Day, which is celebrated today, Al-Dhaen commended the unwavering support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, particularly in this exceptional year as the Kingdom celebrates the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s reign, emphasising the monarch’s profound belief in youth as catalysts for national progress. Al-Dhaen said: “Celebrating Bahraini Youth Day contributes to highlighting young cadres, capabilities and talents in various fields, encouraging them and taking their hand to achieve further development and success to continue the comprehensive development renaissance process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain.” She lauded the government’s support for the youth, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and underscored the initiatives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in advancing youth affairs and sports. Describing youth as the “driving force behind innovation and development,” AlDhaen praised the “Exceptional Youth” initiative aimed at recognising outstanding young talents and fostering a competitive environment to achieve excellence. The legislator stressed the necessity of collaboration between the public and private sectors to bolster policies benefiting youth, including the implementation of the National Youth Empowerment Strategy (2023-2028), designed to support young national cadres and nurture their skills through various projects and programs. She highlighted the legislative authority’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for youth to invest in their capabilities and creativity, providing them with opportunities to contribute to the nation’s construction, development, and ongoing achievements.
