1. DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION
Fundación Valenciaport is a non-profit private organization, with more than 60 employees, located in Valencia (Spain), that provides services to the port and logistics cluster. It is an Applied Research, Innovation & Training centre dedicated to the design, implementation and execution of R&D&I and consultancy projects specialized in logistics, transport and ports, aimed at improving the competitiveness of companies and institutions in the port logistics sector.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
We are looking for a graduate with Business Administration, economics degree or similar, with experience in the field of consultancy to join a multi-skilled team specialized in R&D, innovation and consultancy projects in the field of transport, logistics and ports. More precisely, foreseen activities would be participation in:
Ports, transport and logistics consultancy projects at national or international level, especially in the areas of financial and cost-benefit analysis, strategic planning and market analyisis.
Research and innovation projects from different programmes (H2020, Horizon Europe, CEF, Interreg, National and regional programmes).
3. SELECTION CRITERIA
Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar qualifications. MS or PhD will be recognized.
Fluent in English (excellent speaking and writing skills). Minimum level C1 or similar.
Required experience (3-5 years) in the field of consultancy projects in logistics, transport and port management and recommended experience in R&D&I projects.
Valuable experience in the area of strategic planning, feasibility analysis of investment project, cost- benefit and statistical analysis.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Availability to travel.
4. CONDITIONS
