Care Innovation Hub pauses operations during COVID-19
The Care Innovation Hub has paused all operations for the “foreseeable future” due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
CEO Navin Mayani said the “difficult decision” had been made to pause operations for a likely period of “at least six months”.
Navin told CHP he will be stepping down as CEO and all expenditure for the organisation, which offers an innovation platform for current and future social care leaders seeking to transform the sector.
“Care Innovation Hub’s mission is to enable and develop new entrepreneurs, start-ups and leaders who will create positive change in the care sector,” Navin said.
“Once the country returns to business as usual we plan to start up operations again. At that time the sector will need innovative ideas more than ever and we hope to be at the forefront of this alongside yourselves.
“Myself and the Board are extremely grateful for your ongoing enthusiasm and support. I look forward to staying in touch with my peers in the sector and continuing to work alongside all those who work tirelessly to support vulnerable people receiving care services in the UK.”
