Checkpoint Systems puts innovation under the spotlight at Euroshop 2023
Retail technology specialist Checkpoint Systems is set to showcase its industry-leading RF and RFID solutions at Euroshop 2023, the world’s taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany from Feb 26-March 2, 2023.
Euroshop is the world’s No.1 trade fair bringing together businesses and people from across the global retail industry to explore cutting-edge innovation and creativity. Checkpoint Systems will replicate retail store environments, including for apparel and grocery among others, to create live technology demonstrations for show visitors.
Key technology on display will include the company’s newest launch SFERO, a fully customizable modular RFID as EAS solution for the apparel market, which helps to minimise losses and protect stores in ways never possible until now. Other RFID technology on show will include RFreshID, a platform which uses RFID technology to help stores manage and rotate the stock efficiently by improving inventory visibility and accurately identifying produce with near or exceeded sell-by-dates.
Checkpoint will also be highlighting its latest RFID solution for beers, wines and spirits, which helps brands gain full traceability of individual products from the moment they’re bottled through to purchase while authenticating stock to protect it from the grey market; meaning a real performance revolution of RFID technology on liquids. There will also be RFID product positioning and other inventory control solutions available for visitors to view as well as the company’s store operations focused cloud-based business intelligence platform which enables device control, data collection, reporting and service offerings.
For visitors focused on loss prevention, Checkpoint will be highlighting its Alpha High Theft Solutions; innovative and technologically advanced products which are engineered to protect high-theft merchandise across all vertical retail markets. Also on display will be the company’s revolutionary RF Metal Label, the world’s first commercially available RF label for metal products and metallic packaging. The label enables retailers to protect these products with the same EAS systems as they currently use for the rest of their inventory. A wide range of other EAS loss prevention solutions, developed to protect retail inventory from theft and shrinkage across a range of applications – and in many cases tailor-made to suit a retailers personal requirements – will also be on display at Euroshop 2023.
Finally, for brands, retailers and manufacturers working in the apparel industry, Checkpoint will highlight its bespoke Apparel labelling solutions, which provide a single source for a company’s branding, RFID intelligent labeling and identification needs.
Says Mariano Tudela, Vice President of Sales & Customer Operations MAS EMEA for Checkpoint Systems: “ We are continually innovating to evolve our technology to meet the exacting requirements, not only of the world’s retailers, but also brand owners who want to start the digitalisation process and shoppers who expect a frictionless, engaging shopping experience.
“We’ll have all our cutting-edge RFID and EAS systems on display at Euroshop – from tags to antennas – that will offer all retailers a solution from in-store inventory and supply chain management to theft reduction and product identification.”
