COACH opens “COACH AIRWAYS” in Malacca – An Immersive Pop-Up Store That Celebrates The House’s New York Attitude and Spirit of Innovation
MALACCA – Coach announces the opening of Coach Airways, an immersive pop-up experience celebrating the house’s distinctive New York attitude and spirit of innovation. The first retail concept of its kind, Coach Airways is located at Freeport A’Famosa Outlet, a popular shopping destination in Malacca, and reimagines the house’s American design language to create a space where customers can explore and shop a Coach collection curated exclusively for Coach Airways.
A celebration of discovery and the house’s continued efforts to craft innovative, one-of-a-kind experiences that captivate the senses and invite audiences to interact, Coach Airways is built inside a real aircraft spanning across 4,198 square feet. Blending Coach codes with architectural elements that reference the ‘70s golden era of air travel, the space features a cockpit as well as passenger and lounge cabins in retro colorways and prints, reimagined with iconic house touches like Signature that reference Coach’s legacy of craftsmanship.
The space also includes a one-of-a-kind retail cabin spotlighting all-gender ready-to-wear, bags and travel accessories—inspired by the next generation’s expressive approach to fashion. Additionally, Coach Airways will feature the house’s second installment of its Coach Café, where customers can enjoy artisanal coffee and refreshing beverages.
To bring the pop-up to life, Coach will also release an exclusive Coach Airways Collection featuring a selection of t-shirts, a passport leather case, a wheeled carry-on luggage bag, and field tote and travel accessories such as luggage tags, pouches and small wallets, printed with a limited-edition reimagination of the house’s iconic Signature. Coach Airways opens daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm and is located at FAO Airplane, Freeport A’Famosa Outlet, Jalan Kemus / Sempang Ampat, 78000 Alor Gajah, Melaka, Malaysia.
