Coworking spaces: Empowerment for entrepreneurship and innovation in the digital and sharing economy
Ricarda Bouncken is Chair Professor of Strategic Management and Organization, University of Bayreuth, Germany, since 2009. Her research centers on innovation within and among firms, especially when coopetition is present. Recent research also covers digital innovation and its organizational underpinnings, e.g. digital identity or digital innovation. She also researches collaborative work spaces among start-ups, corporates, and freelancers, partly as corporate venturing. She is associate editor of the European Management Journal. Recent publications are in the Journal of Business Research, Long Range Planning, British Journal of Management, Global Strategy Journal and Academy of Management Journal.
Martin Ratzmann is a postdoctoral research and teaching associate at the Chair of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Bayreuth. His main interests include applied research methods, network approaches, organizational behavior, and team research. He publishes in leading international journals and books.
Roman Barwinski is a doctoral student at the Chair of Strategic Management and Organization, University of Bayreuth, Germany. His research focuses on strategic and organizational considerations of digitalized ecosystems. He specifically studies innovative forms and spaces of work, identity, and managerial capabilities.
Sascha Kraus is Chair Professor for Entrepreneurship at Durham University Business School. He holds a doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences from Klagenfurt University, Austria, a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Helsinki University of Technology and a Habilitation (Venia Docendi) from LUT University, both in Finland. Before that, he held Full Professor positions at Utrecht University, The Netherlands, the University of Liechtenstein and École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur, a Grande Ecole in Paris, France.
