Craghoppers supports Alder Hey’s Innovation Lab | Craghoppers
Craghoppers, through the Regatta Foundation, is helping to nurture new talent with an exciting scheme run by The Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with corporate innovation specialists, L Marks.
The first sprint of the start-up accelerator programme, The Innovation Lab, has been launched and will offer start-ups and existing suppliers the opportunity to test and collaborate solutions to real challenges in a live environment.
Craghoppers will be supporting Hospital Optimisation: Rethinking the end-to-end journey. The behind-the-scenes running of a hospital is a very complex process. Alder Hey is looking for simple solutions which are easy to implement, keeping a patient, clinician and staff centric approach.
In November 2021, in a “Dragon’s Den” approach, 10 shortlisted companies pitched their ideas with a view that the successful innovator will gain access to stakeholders within the Alder Hey Trust, who have offered their expertise, and the opportunity to test and validate their solutions. Craghoppers will be supporting the startups along their journey.
David Holt, COO for The Regatta Group, said: “We are proud to be partnering with L Marks to enable Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to launch their first Innovation Lab.”
“The Alder Hey Innovation Lab is inspiring startups to bring exciting and innovative technology into the hospital, to help solve some of the biggest healthcare challenges facing children, young people and their families today. With innovation at the heart of the Craghoppers brand, we are excited to see the results of the lab come to fruition.’’
Next steps will be in January 2022 when the programme will begin the testing phase.
