As Day 2 of TechBBQ 2023 unfolded in Copenhagen, the aura of innovation was palpable. This esteemed gathering, renowned for its confluence of thinkers, leaders, and visionaries, beckoned participants into yet another day of transformative dialogues with panelists from around the globe.

Speakers like Linnea Bywall, Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir, Aaron Kroon, and Jeppe Rindom shared their candid journeys, painting a complex yet rewarding picture of modern leadership.

2. Raising Capital and Launching Siren Care: The audaciously titled “Sh$t & Champagne” took TechBBQ attendees on a voyage with Ran Ma from the challenges in Copenhagen to the successes in San Francisco. Embodying the global tech spirit, Ran’s story, dedicated to aiding diabetics, was a beacon of the positive potential of tech in healthcare at a time when we need it most.

3. North Star Pitch Competition: There was more going on than panels at TechBBQ, with the aura of competition in the air as startups from the Baltic and Nordic regions vied for the 40,000 DKK prize (approximately $6,300 USD). Startups like Tryp.com, FlexThor, and Flexpenser showcased the region’s tech prowess, and on the other side, an illustrious panel of judges, including Arlena Amiri and George Robson, added gravitas and valuable insights to the competition.

4. Biohacking for Better Mental Health: Teased in our coverage of day one, the panel on “Biohacking Your Way to Better Mental Health + Wellbeing” was a clarion call to address the mental health challenge in the tech world. With experts like Line Aasen and Mads Friis, attendees were introduced to the world of biohacking and its potential to transform mental health, a vital topic to anyone trying to remain healthy while pursuing a difficult and often tiresome dream.
