AACSB International, a global nonprofit association, acts as a unifying force, bringing together educators, students, and businesses with a shared mission—to cultivate the next generation of exceptional leaders. Within AACSB’s dynamic framework, various committees and advisory councils, including specialized entities like the innovation committee, work collaboratively to drive excellence in business education and foster innovation. Renowned for his thought leadership in AI, behavior, and business leadership, De Cremer’s expertise aligns with the mission of the committee to dive deeply and strategically into emerging innovations and effective practices to meet the demands of a technologically driven world. His research interests include examining the interplay between humans and smart technologies in business and society. Before joining D’Amore-McKim, De Cremer was a provost chair, director, and founder of the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind (AiTH) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. He has also served as the KPMG endowed professor in management studies at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School (CJBS), where he remains a fellow at both CJBS and St. Edmunds College. With a focus on the digitization of business institutions and the pivotal human role, De Cremer will engage in committee discussions to uncover challenges and opportunities in developing digital transformation strategies for business schools. The committee holds a crucial role in empowering business education providers and their partners to navigate new opportunities that positively influence both business and society.
