Dept of Business Administration’s Abhyudaya’24 Unveils Brilliant Innovation with a Dash of Fun The Abhyudaya’24 Management Fest at Assam University Silchar, powered by ONGC and partnered with Engine, commenced yesterday with a spectacular inaugural session. Organised by the Department of Business Administration, the fest aims to nurture the managerial and organisational capabilities of students. The inaugural session witnessed the lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests, including the Vice-Chancellor of Assam University, the Dean, and the Head of the Business Administration Department. Distinguished guests, including Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, Vice-Chancellor of Assam University, Prof. Dilip Kumar Baidya, Director of NIT Silchar, Mr. Bipul Gohain from ONGC, and others, were felicitated. They shared insights into their ventures, schemes in India, and opportunities for aspiring individuals. The session concluded with a vote of thanks to guests, sponsors, and supporters. Following the inaugural session, the Industrial Conclave featured ten industrialists discussing the future of Barak Valley. A felicitation ceremony honoured budding entrepreneurs, fostering inspiration for India’s industrial future. The NAVYA Business Idea Competition saw students from various institutes presenting innovative ideas. The fest’s second day promises engaging events, including a Debate Competition, Quiz Competition, Ad-making Competition, and more. Abhyudaya has successfully blended online and offline participation, ensuring students from all over India can join the brilliance of the events. The day will conclude with a Cultural Evening featuring artists from the North East. Abhyudaya’24 previously hosted a successful Sports Extravaganza and a Flashmob to gather support. An open ceremony named VISION-2047 showcased cultural performances and vision-building for the Business Administration Department. Dr. Habib Ratvi, the faculty in charge, expressed gratitude to the President of Silchar Management Association, Mr. Vivek Poddar, and his team for their diligent support.
