She is a quadruple threat: an actress, producer, director and is adding screenwriter to the list. 

Elizabeth Banks was at the fifth annual Fast Company’s Innovation Festival in NYC on Wednesday to discuss Hollywood, feminism and writing her own script. 

The 45-year-old star stunned on the red carpet in a maroon latex dress and a plaid blazer, before taking the stage.

In a monochromatic outfit, the Pitch Perfect actress, paired her knee length dress, with pointed toe stilettos. 

Her outerwear had a tapered waist but poofed shoulders and back. 

Elizabeth kept her signature blonde locks down in a sleek, middle part bob hairdo.

On stage she seemed to be in great spirits, smiling and laughing as she dove into hot topics for the convention. 

She recently wrote, directed, produced and starred in the new Charlie’s Angels film, that premiers on November 15. 

Speaking with Stephanie Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company, she said  ‘I wanted to build on the themes of sorority and sisterhood and teamwork I felt worked so well in the Pitch Perfect franchise.’

Elizabeth produced all of the Pitch Perfect trilogy and directed the second installment, Charlie’s Angels is her second feature film as director.

‘I wanted to celebrate women at work,’ she said. ‘When I watched the original television show in the 70’s, Charlie’s Angels, the thing that struck me about them was that they were professional women.’

Adding:  ‘They had these incredible jobs and it was very revolutionary at the time.’

‘I thought those beauties with brains, kicking butt, in an endeavor that was typically done by men, was so aspirational,’ she said after speaking on how seeing women in the 1970s show inspired her.
