Event Genius shortlisted for ‘Event Innovation of the Year’ at NOEA Awards 2019 – Event Genius
The shortlist for this year’s National Outdoor Events Association Awards 2019 has been announced and we are over the moon to have been included for the ‘Event Innovation of the Year’ award! The nomination follows our successful delivery of a raft of innovative new cashless features as part of Event Genius Pay – our cashless RFID payment system – at this year’s Annie Mac Presents: Lost & Found Festival 2019 (pictured above).
The 16th annual convention and awards dinner will be held in Bath on November 27. We’re really looking forward to seeing and hearing from the industry players at the tops of their respective fields on the night and wish everyone shortlisted the best of luck.
Susan Tanner, NOEA’s Chief Executive, said: “This year again saw an increase in entries, and the quality of the submissions was also very high. Because of this we had a longer finalist list, and it’s been a real challenge for our judges to decide on the three or four shortlisted in each category.”
Alistair Turner, Chair of the Judging Panel and Managing Director, EIGHT PR & Marketing, added: “The entries were again incredibly strong this year and shows our industry in really good health. We’ve been particular impressed by the increase in entries from the public sector, as well as a host of new and innovative supplier Businesses.”
