F1 to be made available on Apple Vision Pro
Disney has revealed its exciting vision to revolutionize the way we watch sports. During the conference, CEO Bog Iger announced the company’s plans to create a captivating entertainment experience for the new Vision Pro headset. He offered a sneak peek of what this would entail and it is more than revolutionary in the realm of sports.
The preview showcased how the headset would enhance the way we experience sports. For instance, viewers would have the ability to simultaneously display five games on the screen, effortlessly switching between them while keeping track of their favorite teams and leagues. This would work wonders with the F1 multi-viewer app, should it add to these efforts; helping a fan focus on multiple teams or drivers at once.
By focusing on a specific match-up, fans could enjoy various angles of the action, including track-side or court-side perspectives, complemented by detailed stats. Further, they would have the option to delve into in-depth replays, further enchanting their experience. F1 fans could finally live out their dreams of being couch-stewards!

Disney’s sports partners would have the opportunity to explore innovative ways to engage fans through this platform. F1 is on the list with other prominent sports owned by Disney, such as the NBA, NHL, and MLB among others. And F1 has a track record of embracing cutting-edge technology. Mercedes had experimented with using iPads to provide fans with driver’s seat experiences as early as 2014.
For a sport like F1, that lives and breathes technology, surely this would be an easy game in the park. With there being limitless ideas to fully exploit this opportunity, it only promises excitement for what is to come.
