INNOVATE FOR BANGLADESH VIRTUAL FESTIVAL
To drive equitable innovation in Bangladesh, Bangladesh Innovation Conclave has organized the first ever virtual innovation festival ‘Innovate for Bangladesh’ Powered by Bkash Ltd. in Association with Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Energypac Power Generation Ltd. The three-day long festival consisted of ‘Youth in Innovation’ & the ‘Bangladesh Business Innovation Summit 2021’ now in its 3rd iteration. The festival was followed by the highly anticipated ‘Bangladesh Innovation Award 2021’ organized in Association with Energypac Power Generation Ltd. The Festival was held from March 12-14, 2021.
The vision of the festival was to drive innovation and the core essence of innovation across key stakeholders of Bangladesh. The festival has been designed to disseminate local and global best practices and approaches to innovation. The key focus is Driving Innovation within different sectors & harnessing the skillset to drive innovation – which will add value to the lives of people and help pursue inclusive growth.
The Festival commenced with a welcome address by Shariful Islam, Founder, Bangladesh Innovation Conclave and opening remarks from Mir Nawbut Ali, CMO, Bkash Ltd.; Rabbur Reza, COO, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd.; Humayun Rashid, MD & CEO, Energypac Power Generation Ltd. The sensational festival comprised of 11 Keynote Sessions, 4 Panel Discussions, and 2 Insight Sessions, 1 Discussion Session, and 1 Case Study Session.

3RD BANGLADESH INNOVATION AWARD 2021
The ‘Bangladesh Innovation Award 2021’ organized in Association with Energypac Power Generation Ltd. was held after the conclusion of the Bangladesh Business Innovation Summit. The accolade – this year in its 3rd iteration – sought to recognize and celebrate the various innovations brought about by entrepreneurs, individuals, public and private organizations. In doing so, the accolade also seeks to inspire the progress and development of innovation to take Bangladesh forward towards a developed and equitable world for the people of the country and beyond.
This year’s Bangladesh Innovation Award organized in Association with Energypac Power Generation Ltd. had awardees in a total of 21 categories and subcategories. A total of 17 winners were announced, alongside 21 honourable mentions, and 1 special award.
Additionally, a youth competition titled ‘Innovate for Bangladesh – Student Competition’ was held to inspire and recognize works done by the talented youth. ‘Jutenum’ were declared the champion of the competition and were awarded won BDT 1 Lac. ‘3-Matric.com’ was declared the runner-up and were awarded BDT 75 Thousand.
