Mobile working specialist Footprint Solutions has been honoured in two categories at the Housing Innovation Awards 2015, held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on the 18th February 2015. Finalists in the ‘Most Innovative Supplier’ award, while its flagship product Housing Support Pro solution and also the ‘Most Innovative IT System’ in partnership with Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT).
Footprint received praise for Housing Support Pro; a mobile working application that enables housing trusts to carry out efficient and responsive customer service using the latest mobile and paperless processes. The application enables remote workers to view, collect and act upon up-to-date information, and has been implemented across various operational departments to support neighbourhood officers, repairs, plan works, enforcement and tenant wellbeing.
Special focus was given to Footprint’s work with Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) who deployed Housing Support Pro in 2014. Since implementation, they have seen a positive response from those dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, self-harm and mental illness through better case management. Housing Support Pro has transformed the way GGHT engages with its client base, and has reduced paper usage by 47% and saved £260,000 in printing costs alone.
Commenting on the double achievement, Footprint Solutions CEO John Sant said: “Our partnership with GGHT has proven the benefits of mobile working processes, and we will continue to develop new technologies that extend the possibilities for remote workers.” Footprint has announced plans to strengthen its catalogue of offsite workforce solutions with a new app under its Housing Support Pro service, which will give housing trusts offline access to information to ensure continuous work.
Peter Fitzhenry, Director of Housing said: “For Golden Gates Housing Trust’s to be recognised in these awards is a real honour. It demonstrates how Footprint is successfully bridging the gap between what the existing housing solutions offer, and the actual information the client-facing teams need in the community.”
Now in its fourth year, the Housing Innovation Awards recognises examples of innovation and best practice within the UK’s social housing sector. The awards ceremony took place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London on 18th February 2015.
