Guangzhou to become centre for tech innovation

Guangzhou, China – As Guangzhou intensifies its coordinated efforts to establish itself as the centre for technology innovation in China, it also moves into a leadership position in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area initiative, a major national project taking shape in the coming decades.

As one of the youngest full-service digital agencies in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Digital Creative Experience Centre, brings to life, various characters, VR experience, digital animation, complete with 3-D imaging, sounds and narrative and most interestingly holograms.

The centre is already one of the most respected in the country by clients and peers. It aims to create effective digital marketing programmes that tightly integrate strategy, creativity, technology and digital media, so as to deliver real brand and business impact with a uniquely configured team of experienced marketers, technologists, creative experts and media specialists.

For an average cost of 2,000 RMB a second, the centre could create a 30-minute 3D animation movie complete with audio, original musical track and action-packed short movie or a 30 second commercial complete with hologram.

A spokesperson at the centre said that hundreds of young digital creative experts worked in the centre to not only study computer-generated animation and holographic techniques but also to create virtual images mimicking real movements and features by models.

Multiple sensors, strategically located in the centre’s studio, record these movements and these are generated into 3D images automatically. The finishing touches to these animated creations include addition of colouring and costume.

“We’ve kept the dream in our heart from day one and are working on our way to achieve it. We bring in the software from the United States, study them and recreate our own.  Soon we will make the world know about the most amazing animation movies that are being made in China, some from our centre,” the spokesperson said, adding that these included Captain America.
