EMS World’s international award program recognizes the most pioneering products in the industry each year, all of which were showcased at the 2022 EMS World Expo, held in Orlando, Florida. An independent panel of judges evaluated each entry and determined its worthiness for this esteemed award.

Handtevy’s CPR Assist, the first award recipient, is a fully integrated and configurable cardiac arrest feature that provides essential audio and visual cues for running a cardiac arrest. It includes five dedicated timers, such as a configurable metronome, ventilation auditory cue, pre-charge monitor cue, 2-minute rhythm check, and epinephrine interval.

Handtevy’s Protocols & Checklists also received an award for its ability to provide front-line personnel with time-critical medication dosing and equipment sizing in real-time. When an EMS clinician selects a protocol, the app displays agency-specific medications, drips, and equipment, which can then be uploaded directly into the ePCR. The checklists are fully integrated into the Handtevy Mobile app, allowing EMS personnel to ensure accuracy and provide the best possible care for their patients.
