Home Point Financial partners with Ellie Mae for tech innovation

While it holds true that a timeshare agreement is a binding legal document, it is often mistakenly thought that such an agreement can not only be cancelled. Ellie Mae has added Home Point Financial to its network of partners for Encompass Financier Link.

The home mortgage originator joined Ellie Mae’s 12 existing reporter financier partners, that include AmeriHome, Chase, Flagstar Bank, Franklin American Home Mortgage, Mr. Cooper, NewRez, TMS, and Wells Fargo.

The partnership makes Home Point available to Ellie Mae’s Encompass customers through Financier Connect, which is a system-to-system workflow between loan providers and financiers that supplies an automatic loan-package delivery process.

Furthermore, House Point works with Ellie Mae’s Encompass platform to process post-close purchase reviews and uses Ellie Mae AIQ to help automate underwriting.
