How do digital innovation teams function? Understanding the team cognition-process nexus within the context of digital transformation

Elias Ηadjielias is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cyprus University of Technology. His research includes issues such as entrepreneurial teams, entrepreneurship in family businesses, sustainable entrepreneurship and business-to-business collaborations and co-operations. Elias won various awards for his research work and academic service and he has published scientific articles in international prestigious journals, such as Annals of Tourism Research, International Business Review, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and Journal of Family Business Strategy, among others. Dr. Hadjielias has also served and serves as a Guest-editor of 8 special issues at leading journals such as Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Marketing Review, Journal of Small Business Management, European Journal of Marketing, and International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research.

Lola Dada is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Lancaster University Management School. Her research interests are in franchising and entrepreneurship. She has published in these areas in various journals, such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Management Reviews, Regional Studies and International Small Business Journal.

Allan Discua Cruz is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Lancaster University Management School His research interest lie in entrepreneurial teams, families in business and entrepreneurial dynamics. He has published in journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour, and Research, International Small Business Journal among others.

Stavros Zekas holds a BSc (hons) in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering Specialization), an MBA, and Postgraduate Certificates in Management and HRM. He is leading a department and project teams at Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, being responsible for the provision of mission critical services. His research interests and practical expertise are focused on the areas of service innovation, innovation processes, business process reengineering, and risk and quality management.

Michael Christofi is a Senior Research Fellow in management and marketing at the Institute for the Future, School of Business at the University of Nicosia. Previously, he worked as a product development practitioner for several years. His research spans across the fields of strategic management, technological innovation, stakeholder engagement, social marketing and corporate social responsibility, well-being, social entrepreneurship, marketing innovation, and organizational ambidexterity. Michael has published over 25 articles in premier publication outlets, such as British Journal of Management, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review and Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others. He has authored several book chapters and won various awards for his research work and academic service. Dr. Christofi has also served and serves as a Guest-editor for special issues at leading journals such as Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research.
