Ingram Micro Cloud, AWS Collaborate for Cloud Innovation

A new collaboration between Ingram Micro Cloud and AWS will drive and accelerate cloud innovation for their channel partners.

Ingram Micro Cloud is an Amazon Web Services advanced consulting partner and distributor. This multiyear, joint investment aims to accelerate the growth of AWS partners worldwide through Ingram Micro.

The two companies plan to increase their reach and footprint in existing regions. They’ll also expand into new markets across EMEA, LATAM and ASEAN countries.

Both organizations will work together to bolster Ingram Micro Cloud’s portfolio. They’ll also develop new resources to support channel partners in managing end customers.

Ingram Micro now provides numerous AWS solutions, including: a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team with over 100 AWS certifications; professional and managed services; AWS Well-Architected services; and a cloud marketplace that provides access to automated go-to-market tools and partner programs.

The cloud marketplace plans to increase AWS adoption with emerging ISVs, while driving greater adoption of AWS solutions with SMB customers through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.

Critical Imperative of IaaS

Duncan Robinson is Ingram Micro Cloud’s global portfolio management leader. He said the collaboration will help partners drive more growth faster.

Partners can leverage unique solutions that Ingram Micro will develop to automate AWS services, he said. That will help them add more SMB customers.

“They will also have access to more benefits through Ingram Micro’s capabilities and competencies, such as funding [and] new value-added services that partners can augment to drive more customer wins, including recruiting ISV’s,” Robinson said.

Additionally, Ingram Micro partners will have access to more resources to support their business across sales, marketing, technical and operations.

“Overall, partners will experience the dedication and investment from both Ingram Micro and AWS to help deliver more value at an accelerated pace throughout the course of the multi-year agreement,” Robinson said.

Ingram Micro expects to continue broadening relationships with emerging and growth SI and VAR partners for AWS through its partner enablement and support initiatives. These initiatives cover a wide range of sales enablement, practice development, technical enablement, and business and financial support services.

Doug Yeum is the head of AWS‘ global partner organization.

“Through this agreement and with Ingram Micro Cloud’s expanding AWS practice and global network of channel partners, more small and medium businesses and ISVs will be able to leverage AWS services to help solve business problems and accelerate growth through digital transformation,” he said.
