Innovation ahead: Pontem has joined The Agency

Pontem, an innovative agency that uses a digital immersion suite to market and sell projects in Victoria, has joined The Agency.

Located in the Melbourne suburb of Armadale, The Agency’s new projects team will bring developers and buyers together in a hybrid experience that uses the best of flipbook and display suite marketing.

The immersion suite enables developers and buyers to be physically immersed in a project or apartment’s vision and design, to generate as close to a real life experience of what it would be like to truly be at the property when it’s built.

The team behind Pontem, Edi Zhubi and Fil Gacesa, said the innovative platform had given new life to selling projects off-the-plan.

“Fil and I wanted to create a space where developers and purchasers can all get to experience a far superior selling journey,” Mr Zhubi said.

“For developers, they don’t have to worry about building a display suite… and for purchasers they get to experience an off-the-plan purchaser journey they haven’t experienced before.”

Mr Gacesa said Pontem was born out of a need to fill a gap in the market after spending 15 years working in the project space.

“We felt there was an opportunity to address some of the ways that we transact off-the-plan, which hasn’t really evolved during my time in the industry,” he said.

“We felt Pontem was needed in the marketplace to address the extensive costs developers go through in building display suites, but also to create an alternative selling solution.”

Mr Zhubi said the benefits for purchasers were also clear.

“We’ve been doing this for 10 years, and over the 10 years, selling property has been the same,” he said.

“You sell out of a flipbook or out of a display suite and we thought it would be great if we could create a concept and a hybrid version of that model, where we have an immersion room, or a centralised display suite, where developers and buyers can benefit.”

The immersion suite will help buyers see what a development will look like before it’s built.

Mr Gacesa said The Agency was the right fit for their new way of selling and marketing projects.

“Our vision and values align with The Agency in regard to creating premium and unique experiences for consumers outside the traditional realm and our approach is a big step forward for the industry,” he said.

The Agency GM of Sales Victoria, Sally O’Connell said The Agency was excited to place project marketing under the spotlight with Pontem joining the team.

“We will utilise a digital sales technology platform whereby developer clients can showcase their projects by fully immersing purchasers in their vision and design,” she said.
