Introducing ARV – Thailand’s leading company in robotics and artificial intelligence and a winner of National Innovation Award for Outstanding Innovation Organization of the Year 2022 | ThaiPR.NET

From a small beginning as a robot club in PTTEP, passion and determination in what they do have led ‘ARV’ to grow in terms of both business size and turnover. From the date of registration as AI & Robotics Ventures Company Limited or ARV in 2018, the company, which SPECIALIZES in robotic technology and artificial intelligence, has made numerous notable works, including the exhibition of ASEAN’s first drone light show, the joint development of the “Nautilus”, the world’s first successful undersea pipeline maintenance robot, as well as the development of “Horrus”, Thailand’s first fully automated (unmanned aerial vehicle) UAV system. ARV has been trusted as partners and customers by both government and private agencies in various industries both domestic and international.

Most recently, in 2022, ‘ARV’ advanced to a new level by winning the National Innovation Awards for “Outstanding Innovation Organization” in a mid-sized private organization. The award was organized by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) to honor Thai organizations that have initiated creative works with outstanding innovation and great value for the country. This year, a total of 504 works in 5 branches were selected for the award. Dr. Thana Slanvetpan, ARV’s General Manager, and Mr. Sinthu Satawiriya, ARV’s Head of Ventures, attended the ceremony to accept the award at Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon Shopping Center on October 5, 2022. That was a great pride for the management team and all ARV employees.

An award for being the No.1 innovation organization in the tech industry in 2022
Dr. Thana Slanvetpan, General Manager of AI & Robotics Ventures Co., Ltd. revealed, “Thailand’s tech and startup industry is becoming increasingly competitive. There are many potential innovation organizations that invent new innovations to meet people’s needs and solve business problems in various industries. It is encouraging to see how each organization is attempting to come up with solutions to improve their efficiency and enhance their potential to compete on a global scale.

Today, as a specialist in robotics technology and artificial intelligence, ARV has grown exponentially in terms of both the number of manpower, revenue, and also how we strive to create innovations to meet business needs for various industrial sectors, both domestically and internationally. What we do is aligned with the criteria of the National Innovation Award for outstanding innovation organization according to the 8-dimensional IOM model as determined by the NIA[1], and we are proud to have received this award. ”

Aimed for best work by focusing on ‘people’
Dr. Thana mentioned further that, “ARV wants to drive technology and innovation to solve problems and make everyone’s daily life easier, either for individuals or business partners. This mission cannot be achieved without a strong team with great potential. The company values and encourages our employees to develop various skills in order to work together more effectively as a team which will lead to success according to the goal of the company. Currently, ARV is a company that gathers more than 400 technology-savvy from across the world. We offer them the opportunity to participate in designing and creating corporate culture together to ensure that what we have is a unique DNA reflected from every employee, which is truly valuable and genuinely suitable for our organization.”

Business model for stable and sustainable company development
ARV aims to grow the business by leaps and bounds in every dimension. With a firm stance of being a venture builder from the brainstorming stage to the stage of expanding the business scope, the preparation is assessed in every step from the project feasibility, patterns and opportunities of the market that correspond to the project, along with assessing the suitability of resources, investment and human labor. ARV currently has four companies under its supervision that provide technology services covering a wide range of industries, including ROVULA (an end-to-end advanced solution platform for Subsea Inspection, Repair and Maintenance), SKYLLER (an end-to-end advanced solution platforms for assets inspection with drone based data analytics. “As one of our core values, ARV has always valued and encouraged sustainable growth. We conduct our business under SDG 13 Climate Action to gain benefits while also helping create a sustainable and green future for our planet.”

Dr. Thana concluded that “in every development level, the keyword is “collaboration” to integrate and bring knowledge from all sectors together. Moreover, ARV continues to explore and cooperate with new business partners, including high-potential startups to develop solutions and innovations in the future in order to create benefits at the national, regional and global levels”.
