KIIT tops Education Ministry’s Innovation Rankings

KIIT Deemed to be University tops the charts by securing Rank 1 among the Private HEI (Higher Education Institution/s) in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. This initiative aims to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.

ARIIA Ranking 2020 report was released digitally today by Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Vice President of India in the presence of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Hon’ble Minister of HRD and Shri Sanjay Sham Rao Dhotre, Hon’ble MoS of HRD.

“I congratulate KIIT on this achievement. We have moved to the first position this year from second place last year. It speaks volumes of our growth in the realm of research and innovation. I thank Hon’ble Minister of HRD, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ji for recognizing our efforts.”,said Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT DU and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha.

KIIT always assists and facilitates academic collaborations, industrial interactions, knowledge transfer and provide support to academics on research funding streams. Remarkably, KIIT DU has been conferred with a tag of Institution of Eminence last year.
