Lidl scoops four awards for Human Resources innovation | Cyprus Mail
For the second consecutive year, Lidl Cyprus has won major honours at the HR Awards 2020, which recognise initiatives and innovative practices in the Human Resources field.
Specifically, Lidl Cyprus was recognised with four HR awards, as follows:
Gold for Candidate & Hiring Managers Experience research, which aimed to improve the experiences of candidates and hiring managers, ensuring fast and quality coverage of work positions.
Gold in the Learning & Development category for the project [email protected] targeting the development and professional evolution of Lidl Cyprus employees.
Silver for developing the Employer Value Proposition (EVP), a strategic tool in the company’s communication strategy as regards employer branding, both externally and internally. The tool was developed thanks to the contribution of employees and potential candidates via online questionnaires and focus groups, as well as the input of Lidl Cyprus Management and senior management via one-on-one interviews and workshops.
Bronze for the Lidl HR Corona Team initiative sealing the teamwork developed by Lidl Cyprus to implement a COVID-19 policy that offers a psychological, emotional and physical support framework for employees.
“Our people have been at the frontline since the beginning of the pandemic. In difficult times, they showed consistency in the daily interaction with consumers, amid ever-changing conditions,” noted Head of HR and Administration Yiannis Epaminondas.
“All four awards, as well as our recognition as a Top Employer for the fourth consecutive year, are a great reward for the continuous effort and the excellent results of the HR team. For Lidl Cyprus’ team, no peak is high enough,” he added.
